We have another big rug going onto the 12′ loom as soon as we get the yarn in next week. It is a fun, lively, blue, green, red, lime, yellow, accent of black, 10′ x 10′ rug in the Pinwheel pattern.
The Limestone pattern, shown below, is for a bedspread. There will be extra blankets available in a 56 x 82″ size or you may specify a particular size and we will weave it to your specifications while it is on the loom.
Next on the small loom is a nice contemporary piece in grey tones, grey blues, greens, dusty red and rust with black. It is 30″ wide and we can make it any length.
My husband and I have been having fun collaborating on a few benches. Here is a picture of one we just finished, it is 34 x 14 x 20″, they run $795. The legs are made of steel tubing, you can select a fabric from our up coming jobs if you like.
The Urban fabric shown in the sketch above will be used on the next bench. We also have one with a beautiful grey and neutral block design, ready to go into another bench, see image below for design and colors.
A big THANK YOU to the Handweavers of the Valley for a great workshop in Exeter, CA! An enthusiastic bunch, lots of fun and lots of REP was had by all. Thanks to my gracious host Nancy and Uwe Reimer for putting me up in their guest house on the Kaweah river at the base of the Sequoia National Forest. Yes, I was in heaven looking up at those 250′ trees, and Uwe is a fabulous chef, nourishment for body and soul !!!!
